With World Health Day upon us once again, PYP keeps bringing you the latest and greatest in health IT.

Celebrated annually on April 7, World Health Day is held to mark the founding of the World Health Organization and used as an opportunity to draw worldwide attention to global health. This year’s theme is high blood pressure/hypertension awareness.

Remind your patients that reducing salt intake, eating a balanced diet, avoiding the harmful use of alcohol, regular exercise, maintaining healthy body weight, and avoiding tobacco use can all contribute to healthy blood pressure.
