Cousins brings wealth of operational and customer service experience to lead enterprise-wide client success program
MIAMI, FL – May 10, 2016 – CareCloud, a leading provider of modern, cloud-based software and services for medical groups, today announced the appointment of Chris Cousins to the executive team in the role of Vice President of Client Success. With more than 20 years of experience in key leadership roles at growing healthcare companies, Cousins will direct Client Success strategy at CareCloud and serve as a client advocate on the executive team.
Prior to joining CareCloud, Cousins served as Vice President of Client Development at athenahealth. In that role, he directed Client Management services, working as a member of the executive team to grow gross revenues from $76 million to nearly $1 billion.
Before joining athenahealth, Cousins gained deep client service experience while serving as Vice President of Operations at PayerPath, a web-based Healthcare EDI Transaction Services company, and through several roles with Sentara Healthcare, most notably serving as Director of Revenue Cycle & Practice Operations for Sentara Medical Group and Operations Manager for Sentara Health Plan’s Medicaid HMO. Over the course of his career, Cousins and his teams have been instrumental in developing client relationships with a range of provider organizations, from solo clinical practitioners to large group practices, focusing on driving client performance and results.
