If you take a close look at the continually growing and constantly evolving South Florida technology sector, you will find Wyncode graduates working in some of the top tech companies in Miami, Ft. That’s because, since we began teaching the art of code in 2014, more than 90% of our over two hundred graduates have launched their new tech careers within three months of graduation by securing amazing jobs with fantastic companies!
Wyncoders get hired because these companies know that students who have gone through our nine-week course are fully prepared to start a challenging and rewarding tech career. Therefore, many of our graduates are able to land their dream jobs by taking advantage of the opportunities we provide with access to our hiring partners. Our network of hiring partnerships allows our students the ability to tap into the thriving South Florida tech scene.

Which companies have hired Wyncoders?
Can you believe that there have already been three companies that have hired five or more Wyncoders? Additionally, several other companies have hired multiple Wyncode graduates – which means we must be doing something right! Just read what Ben Williams, Director of Business Operations at Cloud Logistics, had to say about his experience with hiring Wyncode graduates: “I interviewed people with Computer Science degrees who I was not as impressed as I was with some Wyncoders who had no or little work experience and no education directly in computer science. Cloud Logistics – Based in Atlanta, Georgia, with offices in West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Cloud Logistics is simplifying supply chain software from shipper to carrier to customer with a cloud-based Transportation Management System. Cloud’s development team is currently based at the Axis co-working space in Ft. Lauderdale where all four developers are Wyncode graduates.
Udacity – Based in Silicon Valley and with a valuation of over $1 billionUdacity is a for-profit educational organization, or online university, that offers free and paid massive open online courses, most of which focus on vocational courses for professionals. Udacity has three Wyncoders building their Ruby online course offerings, including Walter Latimer and Diego Lugo, who regularly appear in Udacity’s videos. They have also hired more than ten Wyncoders part time as code mentors.
Kipu Systems – Based in Miami, Kipu Systems is creating the future of electronic health records (medical records system) for the substance abuse industry. Kipu is one of the leading players in their industry and have hired six Wyncoders so far.
MDLIVE – Based in Sunrise, Florida, MDLIVE is a telehealth provider focused on digital delivery of high-quality, convenient and cost-effective care for patients and organizations. Their service can be found in the Walgreens app and they recently completed a raise of $50 million. MDLIVE has five Wyncoders, one of who is now working for an affiliated company in Silicon Valley.
CareCloud – Based in Miami, CareCloud is disrupting healthcare by providing cloud-based health information technology and services. They recently raised $15 million and currently manage over $4 billion in annual accounts receivable for physicians.
Modernizing Medicine – Based in Boca Raton, Modernizing Medicine is developing and creating the next generation of EMR technology. A former Business of the Year winner by the South Florida Business Journal, Modernizing Medicine recently completed a $20 million fundraise. The team is led by Daniel Caine, the 2015 EY Entrepreneur of the Year, who has led his team to raise over $85 million in funding and to employ more than 430 employees.
SATO Global Solutions – Based in Fort Lauderdale, SATO Global Solutions develops innovative technological solutions in the rapidly-evolving Internet of Things market (IoT). Originally based in Japan, the company invested $5 million to bring their global HQ to South Florida. Wyncoders there have worked with amazing companies like Magic Leap and recently Wyncoder Lenora Porterappeared on the cover of South Florida Business Journal.
Watsco – Based in Coconut Grove, Watsco is the largest distributor of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment and related parts and supplies in the United States. Watsco Ventures is an arm of the company creating awesome apps to revolutionize the industry, including OnCallAir. Watsco Ventures has hired four Wyncoders and counting, and appeared in this Course Report webinar on why they hire from Wyncode.
LiveNinja – Based in Wynwood in Miami, LiveNinja is a live video chat customer service platform that makes it easy for customers to communicate with brands. LiveNinja is one of Miami Tech’s original success stories and a community leader, as evidenced by their weekly Waffle Wednesdays meetup, an opportunity Wyncoders use to practice for their final Pitch Day presentations.
FlexShopper – Based in Boca Raton, FlexShopper is a rent to own digital platform which helps customers get the stuff they want, including top brand electronics, furniture and appliances, with an affordable, weekly payment system. A leader in their industry, FlexShopper raised $100 million in 2015 to continue their fast growth, which includes keeping their tech stack on the bleeding edge.
Ultimate Software – Based in Weston, Florida, is a cloud-based human capital management solution for businesses that specializes in HR software solutions and HR payroll. Ultimate Software went public in 1998 and has $506 million in annual revenue. The company is consistently selected as one of the best places to work in the US, ranking #15 on the Fortune list last year.
