John Hallock is Vice President of Corporate Communications at CareCloud. He joined the company in 2012 and is responsible for overseeing CareCloud’s communication and investor relations programs with media and analysts while helping to promote the company’s overall brand awareness and driving corporate development.

Prior to joining CareCloud, Hallock held the position of Director of Global Corporate Communications at athenahealth, a provider of web-based technologies to doctors. In this position he was the chief architect for all facets of the Company’s communications programs ranging from M&A activity, national physician advocacy initiatives to various thought leadership campaigns, including the launch of the PayerView Rankings, VaccineView and the Physician Sentiment Index.

John has also worked at Weber Shandwick Worldwide, Brodeur Worldwide and Schwartz MSL, three leading global public relations firms where he counseled clients on corporate communications, brand management, issues management and strategic media relations programs. He has managed national branding and PR campaigns for Subimo and Healthshare Technology (both acquired by WebMD), Misys Healthcare Systems, The TriZetto Group, eClinicalWorks, PerkinElemer, Thermo Fisher and Genzyme Corporation.

Hallock and his teams have received numerous national awards, including being a finalist for the 2008 National Gold SABRE Award for launching the country’ s top financial campaign for athenahealh’s 2007 IPO. In 2011, he was named to PR Week’s Magazine’s prestigious “40 under 40″ list which recognizes the nation’s top 40 agency, corporate and nonprofit professionals under the age of 40. Hallock has also received eight New England Publicity Club Awards for his various campaigns and has been featured in BusinessWeek, PR Week Magazine and Healthcare Marketing Magazine.

John is a graduate of Radford University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
