At CareCloud, we embrace the holiday sentiment of togetherness so much there’s no space between the two words in our name. Naturally, being festive is in our DNA as well as within our city culture, as a number of our prior holiday posts have depicted.
We’re also politically correct – we didn’t want to give Christmas more time than New Years, so we put this post up at the halfway mark as a peaceful treatise of sorts, no family court required.
There was plenty of eating, drinking and being merry at the annual CareCloud holiday party this past Friday. We celebrated our accomplishments of the past year as we look forward to even more success in 2013.
Now it’s true we like to use cloud puns sometimes, but we literally had our holiday party in the clouds on the 50th floor of the Viceroy Miami at FIFTY. Floor to ceiling windows and a patio area meant mingling partygoers could take in beautiful views of downtown Miami from anywhere in the venue.

This never happens, naturally. Your kids, your siblings’ kids, cousins, aunts, your parents and other stressed adults are running rampant ’round the house like they were actually hunting the turkey as you chase them with a bottle of Windex and roll of paper towels.
So, a few of us here at the CareCloud offices – 18 of us, to be exact – decided to participate in the Movember initiative. Our individual habits vary: some of us stare at our reflection when passing tinted windows, others make their mustache hair touch their noses whenever possible.
But one thing is true: our mustaches have come to represent a sign of solidarity. Not simply for fellow coworkers, either, but for the fight against prostate cancer and other important men’s health issues. We’ve been fundraising on our own, mostly asking friends and family via social media, and we’ve done quite well.
You may have read about our Boston offices, or the fact we hired 90+ years of combined Professional Services experience. A certain local publication even confirmed we signed a lease locking down the second half of the ninth floor at our Blue Lagoon headquarters.
But alas, the cloud spreads faster than thought humanly possible. We were growing so quickly we started physically resembling a dedicated server farm, and when you’re on the cloud, those two terms don’t belong in the same sentence unless there is a ‘versus’ somewhere.
Companies grow, and that’s a problem CareCloud welcomes. At some point, you’re faced with a ton of demand and you need to adjust accordingly. So what does CareCloud do to provide its clients expert level knowledge, support and service?

The CareCloud universe went Jumanji today as small-screen icons, extraterrestrials, exotic beasts and even concession stand condiments descended upon our stratosfear. And despite differences in genetic composition, physical appearance, moral values and even time periods, all groups convened to scarf down a stack of pizza boxes high enough to merit another Felix Baumgartner record jump.
A spontaneous celebration materialized near the CareCloud gates, marked by boisterous laughter, Nerf gun shoot-outs, Instagramming and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man’s empassioned rendition of the viral “Gangnam Style” jig.
